GLEN ALLEN, Va., (May 5, 2025) – ChemTreat, Inc. (ChemTreat) recognized the QTS Ashburn-Broderick data center with our Power of Water Award. This award is given to customers committed to implementing projects that promote environmental sustainability in their operations.
“The QTS team has been very easy to work with throughout the transition and implementation of our program,” said Jason Cook, ChemTreat Area Manager. “I sincerely appreciate their open communication, hands-on support, and desire to continuously improve.”
QTS personnel worked closely with the ChemTreat team to enhance its cooling systems with FlexPro® and QuadDetect® technologies, as well as a dual biocide program.
This program resulted in a significant reduction in energy and water usage at the site:
- 11.6 million kW of energy
- 7.72 million gallons of water
- 4.86 million gallons of sewage
ChemTreat and QTS continue to collaboratively identify new opportunities for environmental stewardship.
