ChemTreat Announces the Opening of Its Advanced Analytical Laboratory in Ashland, Va. to Support Product Innovation for Complex Water Treatment Challenges

GLEN ALLEN, Va., (Sept. 30, 2020) -- ChemTreat, Inc. (ChemTreat), a recognized leader in industrial water treatment, is proud to announce the opening of its new 25,000-square-foot applied technology laboratory in Ashland, Va. This new laboratory facility provides designated space and advanced analytical equipment for specialized on-site testing of ultra-high purity water samples through more complex produced-water samples.  

The laboratory expansion will decrease turnaround time of customer water samples and help replicate difficult-to-treat water conditions to develop new product formulations. A dedicated flammables laboratory was also constructed to provide an environment to expand testing capabilities for the hydrocarbon and chemicals processing industries.

Located across from the ChemTreat East Coast manufacturing hub, the lab is designed with state-of-the-art safety and energy-efficient features, including a once-through air ventilation system to provide 100% fresh air, flow sensors, and alarms for fume hoods.  

With the opening of this analytical facility, ChemTreat is increasing its capacity for future growth and ensuring best-in-class support for its water treatment service teams and valued customers locally and throughout the Americas.
