Dry Lube Reduces Water Usage and Maintains Clean Conveyors in a Bottled Water Facility

The Problem

A global bottled water company’s U.S. locations were having issues with their current supplier. They experienced high usage cost, production line efficiency problems, and dirt and debris buildup on the conveyors because of conveyor lubricants.

The Solution

ChemTreat personnel proposed and applied CP4600 dry lubricant to the bottled water manufacturer’s conveyors. The CP4600 was applied with brushes for a more precise and even application. CP4600 creates a very slick coating on the conveyors that the customer compared to a nonstick surface.

The Results

The CP4600 brush-applied dry lubrication reduced the required amount of lubricant for the conveyors from 660 gallons to 110 gallons per month. ChemTreat was able to help the customer rid the production area of lube buildup and reduce product handling.

By using CP4600 the customer was able to reduce lubricant usage by approximately 3-6 times and increase efficiency by 10 percent.

ChemTreat’s dry lube solution helped the customer increase their asset utilization and reduce their water usage while increasing efficiency.
